Our rooms and apartments are the place where you can really let go and feel at home. They are cosy and comfortable and have been lovingly furnished using natural, high-quality materials. Warm colour tones, plenty of light and the use of wood in the rooms help to ensure a relaxing stay.

We stayed in Hotel Forcher for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised. The way in which they welcome and deal with predominantly German-speaking guests is warm and personal. The food was delicious and there was a very generous breakfast buffet. The hotel has an underground car park and is located on a sunny hillside with a view of Scena. It is situated slightly outside the village, but as a result it is pleasantly quiet. The position is ideal for getting down to Merano and the village of Tirolo is within easy walking distance. All in all, we had a nice, relaxing stay and will definitely be back.

...the apartment was very comfortable with modern furnishings. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. All the hotel staff were very polite and attentive. Gerhard, the chef, is an excellent cook. The dessert in particular was a dream. The hotel is well-located in a quiet spot and there is a beautiful view from every room. The outdoor area comprising the large pool and sunbathing lawn is very well-maintained. We would definitely book Hotel Forcher again.

A hotel where you can relax and feel good – Sabine

It was our second stay in Hotel Forcher. We fully appreciated the works which had been carried out as part of the renovation and extension project during the winter of 2013/14. Everything is beautiful and furnished in a modern style. The new balconies are spacious and the use of glass means you can enjoy a wonderful view. The whole team is friendly and pay close attention to detail which ensures a high level of comfort. We find the location of the hotel very good as Tirolo and Merano are both easily reached on foot. We highly recommend it!

Dogs are permitted on all walking trails. In higher mountain locations however, they should be kept on a lead out of respect for the numerous animals, such as marmots, chamois or ibex which can be spotted on high altitude walks throughout the region.

The evening soirees in Tirolo Castle are among the most popular summer events in South Tyrol. Within the impressive setting of Tirolo Castle, musical works from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Early Baroque eras are presented by specialist ensembles from home and abroad. During the interval, it is possible to sample medieval dishes prepared according to original recipes. Another highlight brings the festive evenings to a close namely the romantic walk by torch light back to the village square. Tirolo Castle with its natural, unspoilt surroundings provides an unforgettable setting.
...that Törggelen is a rather special tradition?

Törggelen is an ancient South Tyrolean tradition which celebrates the production of the new wine.
Allow yourself to be whisked off on a gourmet adventure: the grapes with their sweetness, the mature wine, the apple and its aroma, the smell of roasted chestnuts and many other autumn delights. Enjoy an apple and wine evening, spend a day with the mountain farmers, walk through the golden autumnal landscape, take in the harvest thanksgiving festival and the farmers’ markets with their fresh produce…. autumn in South Tyrol is a time to be savoured!
